Test Solution Services, Inc. is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Yamaichi Electronics Co., Ltd. (YEC)

In 1996, the company was established as Pycon Philippines, Inc. a subsidiary of Pycon, Inc. (USA). It began to carve its name in the Philippine semiconductor and electronics industry with the addition of burn-in services in its business lines in 1998 following the change of the company name to Pycon Technology Philippines, Inc. (PTPI), with its first burn-in manufacturing facility located in Laguna International Industrial Park (LIIP), Mamplasan, Binan, Laguna.

In 2002, PTPI established its presence in the northern part of the country by setting up another facility situated in SFB2 PEZA Compound, Loakan Road, Baguio City, serving its clients within the area and nearby regions.

In 2007, PTPI was acquired by Yamaichi Electronics Co., Ltd. (YEC), a leading global provider of  IC sockets used for semiconductor burn-in & test, and connectors for electronic and electrical equipment and changed its name to Test Solution Services, Inc. (TSS), following the complete transfer of ownership. From then on, TSS has also become the official sales arm of Yamaichi Electronics Co., Ltd. (YEC) distributing high quality IC sockets and connectors in the Philippines.

In 2011, as customers’ demand grew on establishing support closer to their facility, specifically with customers in the Cavite region, TSS constructed another burn-in manufacturing facility in Gateway Business Park, Brgy. Javalera, General Trias, Cavite.

In 2017, TSS transferred from LIIP to Laguna Light Industry & Science Park I (LISP1), a few blocks away from its sister company, Pricon Microelectronics, Inc. (PMI), the main factory of YEC.
